by Kniterella @ 01. Jul 2008 - 10:04:04 pm

Have I got news for you girlies.

It may be raining now quite heavily, but it rained men on Wednesday last week. Not only did I feast me eyes on my darling Chris but he brought his best friend along to help him shift me ol cooker, Mr T he's an old git but he's fun. Chris was so fab. He did all the wiring and put in new wires the thicker ones for Health & Safety, then they brought in me new cooker. I must say it was hate at first sight:##>:XX but that's just like me.:**: I love me new cooker now Chris must love me an awful lot to have gone to all that trouble in finding me a gorrrrgeous cooker like this one. I am gonna make some ginger biccies tonite. yumm I will bring them to a certain place next week.:p

I had no instructions, Chris just showed me how to use it just once. I was frantic. Its got double ovens. The top one is a grill/convection combi, the grill is half for economy or full on, there are 3 knobs for controls, and about 7 little buttons. I figured out how to set the clock by meself then I set the timer on for me first meal.:**:

I had a lovely pizza, except I did the wrong time and it was in too long so a little crusty around the edges. Anyway Chris came round Wed teatime with the instructions book which he printed off. I was so glad I sent him a text.:DD so on Thursday night....

...Chris came to see me Thrusday night we had a loooooong chat:DD and a nice cuddle. Dead romantic. He told me I'm too caring, then he said I was a diamond. OOOOh how romantic and so sweet. Course he was a bit p****d that makes a difference. Cos when he's sober he does NOT say romantic things. Anyway he was a purrrrrfect gentleman. We joked about stuff and I told him I played a joke on this chef lad that fancied me, at the canteen when I worked at Inland Revenue. It was Christmas time and I was feeling giddy (there's nowt new) so I stuffed a balloon up me dress and went into the canteen and come up to him and said loudly," Look what you've done, you should not have kissed me like that", poor lad was ever so upset so I took out me balloon and said 'Gotcha', we just laffed. Ha, ha. Chris thought it was very funny we giggled a bit. We listened to some sounds then it was getting late so he got up.

When it was time for Chris to get off home, he let me put me arms round him n he kissed me goodnight, mmmmm bliss.:DD:>> I have not spoken to him since then only briefly today, he was driving in London. I'm dying to have a chat with him.

So there were only 4 of us yesterday at me Knitting club, honest I don't know why I bother. But if it was not for the ladies coming very kindly each week, I don't think there would be a club. Anyway Jane gave me two punnets of strawberries, I don't know why I got them seeing as I'm supposed to be allergic to them. I have not had a strawberry pass me lips for many a long year but Monday and today I scoffed the lot. Today I had a very nice dessert, strawbs and a lf yogurt, hmmmmm well it cooled down me mouth cos it was on fire with the madras curry I had for me Tea.

Anyway we got on with our Knitting it was FUN. Sarah was doing a jumper, Riaz was knitting a little jumper, I was knitting a lacy shrug with mohair n cotton its in a purple and the mohair one is a lighter pastel shade with a hint of glitter in it and Jane was knitting a scarf from the sample of Black Hills wool I got from the lady that sent them to me, she wants me to send the samples back to her. I knitted a lacy sock with my bit of wool. Trouble is I don't know where I put the sock and wool samples.:::::**: I had another quick mint mocha frapp it was delish only a tall cos it was shutup time.

I got some luverly Kidsilk Night and Rowan 4-ply cotton from Yarn-in-Notts last Monday, I actually travelled there for a workshop. It was a really nice day, I woke up at 5.30am I might add)-o88| then got the coach down, bused it to Beeston. The workshop was by Emma King it was all about finishing techniques, eg, how to do buttonholes, 3needle cast-off, sew up selvedges correctly, pockets and zips we did not elaborate on but we did a shoulder seam very flat it was so fab. I really enjoyed it.:DD:DD:DD

I was in bed all day today cos my arthritis was soooooo painful :(:::: me tooth was killing me and I started with a cold as well, and I had a blinding headache as well - all day - maybe its cos of the terrible downpour just now. Its sort of stopped, maybe I can get on with me knitting now.

I sorted out me sign-in probs with Jeni at Fyberspates, I could not login but she told me how to cut n paste the password in me email, its quite easy really, I never use the right clicker. Anyway I just paid for the self-striping sock yarn club with her so I can't wait to get me Fairground sock yarn. The colours are deeeeeeelish.;D88|88|88|:))

A lady recently widowed chatted with me Monday then later on she came round to me house with guess wot???88|88|88|
some scarlet red acrylic yarn, its so soft, so I reckon I'm gonna make a hat and gloves with it. Red is such a nice colour so warm makes me want to think of a roaring log fire.

Hey you guys I had better coool it and split downstairs, cos this is becoming a looooong essay. I do go on and on a bit. Well I just have so much news to share with you all. Oooooh yea one more thing...

... Raiz and me had a conference on our telephones on Sunday. We had logged into Ravelry and were navigating the site, so I went into a group called Fave Frappuccinos and posted a comment, Riaz was positiiivly drooling over the delish flavours they have in America. So we decided that we would have a petition with the Barista to ask em why we can't have lots of Frapp flavours like they have in USA. Anyway get this guys, I asked Renee my Barista, about the Peppermint choc chip mocha frapp and why can't I have one, she said I could have one, she made it up for me and honest I was in heaven. It was so refreshing, I even told Riaz about it and now I got her hooked on this Frapp thing. I am working on Jane, she enjoyed her first Frapp two weeks ago and judging by the huge smile on her chops I think she right liked it.

Anyway angels I have to split now and get some knitting work done.
Yours in Stitches as ever

Kniterella BIG Hugs to you cookachoo Jeni THANKS again XXX
