I went to me Knitting Club last night, only three of us turned up, we were mostly discussing the stuff in my simply Knitting mag which had just come yesterday. In there was a piece about

(I would Insert a piccy from Clip Art here but I don't know how to do that yet). Its on 14 June I am holding my Knitting in Public Day at Starbucks the usual place, in their Piazza. Hope Sarah comes with her lovely little boy Frederick, it will be a way of getting some more people back into knitting, especially those who have had a break from it. We also had a chat about stash expeditions to Rowan Up-Country and Yarn-in-Notts. Yarn are having knitting workshops throughout the year and I am booked on one on 23rd June a Monday for Finishing Techniques and later on, 30 November for Design your own Knits.

I just made it up with Kerrie at HipKnits cos I was mad, about her not having any more Cleopatra Kid Mohair/Silk sock yarn which I had knitted up into half a back of a jumper, it was in a lovely lacy fan stitch. I had to frog it all back and start a pair of socks cos she only dyed 10 skeins. I only got one and I could not afford to get another 4 so nomore left for me to finish me jumper. I was really sick. But she's a kindly soul and she said no hard feelings. Wot a nice lass, so guess wo I did cherubs??? I ordered a skein of lovely pink and green sock yarn and a Membership club pack, tonight, to show her I am not sore any more. She asked me if I would like to diesign something for her mag??? Would I???? Sure thing huney. I hope I get my birthday card and pressie in time, I also get newsletters and and a Christmas card and pressie. Not bad eh? lasses??? I expect the pressies will be some of kerrie's luverly yarn. Slurp.

I just had a nice loooooong chat with my lovely Chris, he was in the pub with a pint in his hand eagerly waiting for the Big Match to start. Now you know lads and footer they are rather keen about footer, so I thought I would have a chat with him before the Game started. What happened was yesterday I finally got round to doing some housework, cos Jo my Support Worker came and was shocked at the state the Kitchen was in> So there I was elbow deep in washing-up water, when I was splashing about too much and some water got onto the worktop and spilled behind between the wall and worktop. Chris has not finished that bit and there is no splashback so then the cooker exploded, started to spark madly and blew up with smoke and sparks. I got a bit of a fright I can tell yer. Anyway Chris sez he will have a chat with me tomorrow, so we have another HOT date lasses, yum!!! I can't wait. I wish we could have a pink together. He said he would get his mate to come with me new cooker when the DSS have sorted out my claim for Crisis Loan - which I have to pay back - fair enuf.

So today I was on my comp designing a rather nice poster for World Knitting Day with DTP in Publisher. It took me over an hour but it looks quite nice so I'll put one up in our Starbucks where I have me Knitting Club, apparently lots of people have been enquiring about it, so I'm told by the lass who dishes up the drinks. "So where are they all?" I asked her, she just shrugged nonchalantly. Anyway we had a laff it was a lot of fun, we are going again on Monday 26 May, its my Chris' birthday too that day so I am having an extra big Java Chip Frapp with cream and a luverly Berry Nice scone with jam and cream, well its my way of wishing him lots of good health and happiness always, cos you can bet he's gonna be in the pub with his male friends getting durnk. Starbucks is gonna be open til 7.00pm so we are going to meet up at 4.00 as usual, Goody, can't wait.

Well possums I must split and get some chow cos I'm starving, I been in bed this aft cos I was ded on me feet after all that housework last night, I still gotta hoover in the sitting room. I shifted me Mum's old display cabiniet and the TV cabinet out in the garden, CHAS is gonna pick em up on Friday. CHA is Catholic Housing Aid, they are gonna get my excercise bike as well. So in their places I am gonna put a bookcase next to me sofa where I sit, so I can pick a book to help with my designs. In the ex-TV corner I am putting my Condenser dryer, not the most practical of places but I am stuck with the old one on top of me cellar steps so hope Jo can have it shifted and me ol'Mr Washie while she's at it. So after I have hoovered I am gonna get some knitting done.

Jo has got me a nice cleaner/home help lady who is gonna help me clean the house up and help me do my shopping, YIPPPPPEEEEE! At least Jo won't have a fit anymore when she comes to visit me every week, honest girlies the house is a tip. Why? Cos my motto is Stuff the Housework I'd rather do me Knitting!!! Cos i'm about it.
